If you own any kind of Out Door Weather instrument such as a weather station, indoor/outdoor digital thermometer or any other item that needs to function in extreme temperatures, these Lithium batteries are a must.I live in upstate New York and my digital out door thermometer was giving me crazy readings once the temperature got below freezing. Under recommendation from an article I read I purchased some of these batteries - problem solved.
I purchased these for use in a freezer monitor and they're working great for the application at temperatures ranging from -18F to 5F.
Ordered item more than a month but not yet here. Wrote to seller twice and both e-mail returned a undeliverable. Would not buy from seller again.
There are more important things in life, I know, but these batteries have made a huge difference in the useful run time of these two items that I use quite a lot. Both the camera and radio just keep on going.
A very helpful poster here suggested I try these lithium batteries and/or the Sanyo Eneloop rechargable batteries. I purchased a Canon P&S camera and was quite disappointed in the item because it ate the included alkaline batteries.
I have also placed the energizers in a small portable radio I take on many jobs. I purchased both.
These Energizers are in the camera now and my confidence in the camera has been restored. I don't believe I'll ever go back to alkalines, except for a low energy drawing device.
A highly recommended little source of energy.
(probably cheaper). They're batteries. You can buy them anywhere. There's no reason to buy these online because it's cheaper just to go to store and get them yourself. They're very good batteries for just about everything you use them for, but there is no reason to buy them online.
